Spring Floral

Hey Guys!!

I don’t know about you but this week felt a little long for me, TGIF!!

Today in Edmonton it’s supposed to be a high of 13 degrees – I’m loving this spring like weather in February. Although I always need to remind myself that I do still live in Canada and the snow is bound to come back at least once more before Spring!

This style post is a little different from the last one – this post and many more to come will be business casual as that’s how I dress during the week when I’m working in the office.

Last week I decided to go to the Superstore and see if Joe Fresh had anything that would catch my eye– I hadn’t been in a while so I figured it was time (any excuse right!!). They had most of their new Spring Collection out – which included lots of pastels and floral’s.

When it comes to sheer shirts I hate always having to layer them with a tank top underneath. I feel like it takes away from the shirt most of the time especially when the shirt is really see-through. So when I tried on this shirt and seen that it was thick enough not to have to wear a tank top underneath – I was sold! I hate buying anything full price but I loved this floral print shirt too much and it was only $24 regular price – so I had to get it!

Another detail I love about this shirt is the neckline. I always tend to colour coordinate my outfits and try to pull out certain colours from any pattern. With the neckline being navy I paired this shirt with one of my favourite pairs of navy dress pants.

I paired this outfit with these Coral heels as they are both cute and perfect for Spring!

Since this shirt also has some coral throughout the pattern these heels were the perfect colour coordination and made the coral stand out from the floral pattern that much more.

Of course our little sidekick has to go anywhere we go – So I decided to let him get in a few pictures since he was doing a pretty good job photobombing all the others!!

As for my jewelry gold is my go-to always! I love a good chunky necklace paired with anything – I find it just makes the outfit look that much more chic and put together!

This weekend is going to be a busy one starting with my cousin’s 30th Birthday dinner & drinks tonight. Then tomorrow we are off to an engagement party for one of my girlfriends – I’m so excited for her and her fiance!

I hope you guys enjoyed this Style post!
