Calgary Trip

Happy Monday friends!

Today I’m doing a little recap of our Calgary trip last Tuesday. Ana from March and May blog and I went down for a day trip to attend the Sears Canada Spring launch luncheon. It was a great lunch with Liv Judd Soye talking about the new collection that we can expect to see this Spring at Sears. I wasn’t sure what to expect going to the luncheon as I honestly haven’t been in a Sears store in years.. but I was not disappointing one bit. Everything from cute clothing to cute clutches and shoes, not only was everything super cute but it was all also really well priced.

I’m going to be making my way into Sears very soon to grab myself a few Spring items that I already have my eye on! So stay tuned as they will be coming to the blog!

After we finished up at our Sears Lunch we toured downtown Calgary a little, and did a little shopping (of course!). I can’t get over how gorgeous Calgary is – their downtown is so younique and much different from Edmonton’s. I love how each building had such character – it made for such a different downtown vibe. I could see myself living in Calgary for sure!

Robin from My Closet Journey was also at the Sears luncheon so we hooked up with her and Emilie Iggiotti afterwards. Emilie is an amazing photographer – you can check out her work here. Naturally, the three of us had a little fun shooting some pictures with Emilie!

Below are some of the amazing shots Emilie took of us!!

I got my midi Skirt from Boohoo a while back but I had yet to style it. I was so glad when I got invited to the Sears lunch as I knew it would be the perfect time to break out this amazing skirt and start wearing it for Spring. I can’t get enough of this floral piece and I can’t wait to style it so many different ways. I choose to stick with a plain white top and black accessories for this look. This skirt will also look amazing paired with a black or pink top. It’s a great wardrobe staple and something I’ve been wanting to add to my closet for a while now. I love the length of this skirt and how it can easily be worn to work during the week.

I hope you guys enjoyed this look!! Have a great week ahead!
